CRACKERSA PHILOSOPHY FOR A HEALTHY LIFE
The Adriano Galizzi farm, known for its quality crackers, is the result of the passion for agriculture of the young management engineer Adriano, who lent his name and inspiration to the project. This young and dynamic company is located in the Bergamo town of Leffe, and focuses production on a range of cereals, all with genuine qualities and characteristics, obtained from traditional farming and processing methods. The innovative ideas of the Adriano Galizzi farm respect the agricultural traditions of Val Gandino. Cultivation is carried out exclusively with natural methods, excluding the use of chemical fertilisers, weed killers or refinement of the grains. The continuous search for the best uncompromising quality through farming methods that respect local traditions and, above all, the environment is the secret to the success of our products! These are just some of the factors that contribute to the excellence of the products. Crackers, flour for polenta and tasty snacks are all made by the Adriano Galizzi organic farm with passion and care, closely monitored throughout the production process. Thanks to the efforts of this farm in combining traditional cultivation techniques with modern production methods, its customers can enjoy genuine flavours while preserving healthy nutritional and culinary habits. Crackers do not simply play a central role in production, but also fully reflect the work, authenticity and the mission of the company.
CRACKERS
WITH US, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE EATING
For our leading products, crackers, we exclusively use cereals that are controlled, of high quality and - in the majority of cases - gluten free.
Corn, one of the most important and well-known cereals in the world. It is now widespread throughout Europe (arriving in Spain as far back as 1500 A.D.) and still forms the basis of culinary traditions for a wide range of populations, particularly in Latin America. The company is specialised in the production of specific varieties of corn, such as Spinato di Gandino, Rostrato Rosso di Rovetta and Marano, each with its own particular properties and characteristics.
Rice is the most widespread cereal in the farming world, second only to wheat, as well as one of the most ancient varieties (discovered around fifteen thousand years ago in the Himalayas), and is the most complete food of all. Buckwheat is extremely rich in mineral salts, and is also a source of protein, essential amino acids and antioxidants. It is widely used in traditional Italian cuisine, for example in the preparation of Taragna polenta, pizzoccheri and a number of desserts typical to the Valtellina area. Quinoa is currently the main source of nutrition for Andean populations, due to its energy content and its nutritional properties (it is 60-70% carbohydrate, the rest almost completely consisting of proteins). The beneficial properties of lentils make them popular. Rich in fibre, mineral salts and vitamins, they are often used as a substitute for meat (protein and iron). Timilia durum wheat is a healthy and resistant cereal, the result of a project to create a form of wheat better suited to combating famine in the period immediately following the First World War. Widely grown in Southern Italy, it is suited to the production of high-quality organic pasta, bread and pizza. Discover all the varieties of gluten-free cereals!
