AGRIGAL ANCIENT CORN CRACKERS
Agrigal corn crackers are also a tasty snack. Unlike other more usual alternatives, these crackers are light, yet will satisfy mid-morning or early evening hunger pangs without the consumption of excessive calories!
WHAT ARE CORN CRACKERS?
A quality corn cracker should be dry, crumbly, light and with an uneven surface, which is the result of the natural expansion of the cereal.
Special high-tech systems are used to make corn crackers, which when combined with experience and artisan skill lead to the production of a simple, authentic and unique product. However, the most surprising thing is the simple composition of this foodstuff: corn and salt. It is therefore easy to understand how the quality of organic corn, cultivated, processed, checked and packaged exclusively by us, is the only true secret ingredient in Agrigal crackers.

ARE CORN CRACKERS GOOD FOR YOU?
Corn is rich in minerals (potassium, sodium, zinc, selenium, manganese, copper, phosphorous, magnesium, calcium and iron) and vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B5, and B6, as well as E, K, and J. It also contains beta-carotene, alpha-carotene, lutein and zeaxanthin. It provides excellent levels of energy and is rich in fibre. Above all, corn is gluten free and helps combat the emergence of hypertension and diabetes. It has diuretic, anti-inflammatory and cicatrizant properties.
Consumed regularly, it facilitates the elimination of toxins and has beneficial effects against arthritis and rheumatism. It is very beneficial to the skin, the eyes and mucous membranes (which is why corn starch is often found in cosmetics). An answer to this question would be superficial and incomplete.
As with all foods, the difference lies in the ingredients used, in their processing in a manner that guarantees they are correctly cooked and that their organoleptic properties are conserved, and lastly in a moderate consumption of the product as part of a balanced diet.

CORN CRACKERS DIET AND HEALTH
Should corn crackers be favoured over bread, other crackers or breadsticks in terms of diet?
There is no single answer to this question, and as with any question related to nutrition and health it deserves some reflection. The first aspect is the lightness of the product.
The weight-volume ratio is very low, and it is therefore possible to eat more, assuming a controlled quantity of calories.
In relation to density, corn crackers have more calories than other similar products. For example, a packet of crackers (approximately 90 grams) contains 350 kcal, while 90-100 grams of bread contains on average between 280 and 300 kcal.
Therefore, when considering the ratio of weight to calories with corn crackers, it is clear that bread is the winner, but when taking into consideration the lower weight of crackers and their pleasant and characteristic flavour (which makes them ideal as a snack without the addition of dressings or cheese), the cracker remains an excellent standard food as a component of our diet. Therefore, corn is not fattening; bad habits are.
