AN ORGANIC FARM: RESPECTING PEOPLE AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Agrigal is an organic farm that has successfully gained its place in the Italian organic farming scene. Our company was one of the first to cultivate cereal in a natural manner, respecting the principles and spirit of organic, sustainable farming, abolishing the use of chemical substances from its entire production cycle. The result is the cultivation of cereals that are 100% natural, which in June 2015 led our organic farm to become the number-one producer in the Lombardy region of crackers made with ancient corn varieties processed in an artisan manner, without any refining of ingredients. The 100% natural cultivation methods, the utmost respect for the environment and the processing of the product with unrefined ingredients are values that render our company uniquely important on a national level, both in terms of projects to revalorise the territory and in research into high product quality standards. The majority of organic farms use degerminated and hulled corn that is broken into equal-sized pieces to produce corn crackers, which strips them of the majority of their nutritional value. Agrigal distinguishes itself from other organic farms on the market for its ethics and its commitment to treating the corn and all the other products it cultivates in the most natural way possible, in order to leave intact all their flavour and their nutritional properties.
